Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Global Consultancy Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of our website located at globalconsultancyservices.com and all education consultancy services offered therein. Please read these Terms carefully before engaging our services.

01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Global Consultancy Services website, submitting a consultation request, signing a service agreement, or otherwise engaging with our advisory services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

If you are engaging our services on behalf of a minor or another person, you represent that you have the legal authority to accept these Terms on their behalf and that you take full responsibility for compliance with these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued engagement with our services following any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

02 Consultancy Disclaimer

Global Consultancy Services provides professional advisory and support services in the field of international higher education. Our consultants are experienced practitioners who offer informed guidance based on current knowledge of university admissions processes, visa regulations, scholarship availability, and academic pathways.

However, the following must be clearly understood:

  • We are an independent consultancy and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as agents of any specific university, college, government body, immigration authority, or scholarship organization, unless explicitly disclosed in writing.
  • All advice, recommendations, and opinions provided by our consultants represent professional judgment based on information available at the time of consultation. They do not constitute legal, immigration, or financial advice.
  • University admission processes, visa regulations, and scholarship criteria are subject to change at any time by the respective institutions or authorities, without prior notice to us or to you. We are not responsible for changes in policies or requirements after we have provided our assessment.
  • Prospective clients are encouraged to independently verify all information relating to university requirements, visa conditions, tuition fees, and scholarship eligibility directly with the relevant institution or authority.
  • Our role is to guide, support, and inform. Final decisions regarding applications, destinations, and courses of study rest entirely with you as the client.

03 No Guarantee of Admission or Visa

This is one of the most important provisions in these Terms. Please read it carefully.

Global Consultancy Services expressly does not, and cannot, guarantee admission to any university, college, or educational institution, nor the approval of any student visa, work permit, or immigration application.

Admission decisions are made solely at the discretion of the admitting institution and are based on a wide range of factors, many of which are beyond our knowledge or control, including but not limited to: the applicant's academic record, standardized test scores, interview performance, the institution's enrollment targets, the competitive profile of the applicant pool in a given year, and internal institutional policies.

Visa and immigration decisions are made exclusively by the relevant national immigration authority or embassy. Approval or denial is subject to the applicant's personal circumstances, the accuracy of documentation, consular discretion, geopolitical considerations, and applicable immigration law. A strong visa application prepared with our assistance does not guarantee approval.

Any employee, representative, or agent of Global Consultancy Services who represents, implies, or guarantees a specific outcome with respect to admission or visa approval is acting outside the scope of their authority. We strongly advise clients not to rely on any such representations.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Service fees paid to Global Consultancy Services are for professional advisory services rendered, not for outcomes achieved.
  • We will not be liable for any loss, financial or otherwise, arising from an unsuccessful application for admission or a visa refusal.
  • You bear sole responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all information submitted in applications that we assist in preparing.

04 User Responsibilities

Clients of Global Consultancy Services are expected to engage with our team honestly, diligently, and in good faith. The quality and effectiveness of our advisory services are directly dependent on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide.

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information about your academic background, work experience, financial circumstances, visa history, and any other details relevant to your application or consultation.
  • Disclose any prior visa refusals, immigration violations, academic misconduct findings, or criminal history that may be relevant to your application.
  • Review all documents prepared with our assistance and take personal responsibility for their accuracy before submission.
  • Meet all deadlines communicated by us or set by universities and visa authorities. We are not responsible for missed deadlines arising from your failure to act in a timely manner.
  • Communicate promptly and maintain regular contact with your assigned consultant throughout the process.
  • Refrain from submitting fabricated, misleading, or plagiarized content in any application document, including Statements of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation, transcripts, or financial statements.
  • Bear all costs associated with application fees, standardized testing, document notarization, translation, courier services, and visa fees, unless expressly stated otherwise in your service agreement.

Any misrepresentation or omission of material information that results in consequences, including visa refusal, admission withdrawal, or legal liability, shall be the sole responsibility of the client. Global Consultancy Services accepts no liability for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.

05 Payment & Refund Policy

All fees for consultancy services offered by Global Consultancy Services are as set out in your signed Service Agreement or as communicated in writing prior to commencement of services. We reserve the right to revise our fee structure for new clients at any time.

Payment Terms

  • Service fees are payable in accordance with the schedule outlined in your individual Service Agreement.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, an initial non-refundable registration or consultation fee is due prior to the commencement of any advisory work.
  • Failure to make timely payment may result in the suspension or termination of services.
  • All prices are stated in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. Clients are responsible for any currency conversion costs or international transaction fees charged by their financial institution.

Refund Policy

  • Initial consultation fees and registration fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • For ongoing service packages, refunds of unutilized service fees may be considered on a pro-rata basis at the sole discretion of Global Consultancy Services, provided a written refund request is submitted within fourteen (14) days of the triggering event.
  • No refunds will be issued on the basis of an unsuccessful admission application, visa refusal, or change in the client's personal circumstances, as our fees are remuneration for professional services rendered and not for outcomes.
  • Any approved refunds will be processed within thirty (30) business days to the original payment method.
  • Clients who initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without prior written notice to us will be considered to have breached these Terms, and further service engagement will be declined.

07 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Global Consultancy Services, its directors, employees, consultants, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of our services or this website.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:

  • Rejection of university applications or refusal of visa or immigration applications
  • Reliance on advice or information provided during consultations that subsequently proves inaccurate due to changes in institutional or government policy
  • Delays in application processing caused by third parties, including universities, embassies, courier services, or testing organizations
  • Technical failures, downtime, or security incidents affecting our website or third-party platforms we use
  • Loss of revenue, employment opportunity, or educational opportunity attributable to application outcomes

In any event, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Global Consultancy Services in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such cases, the above limitations shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

09 Termination

Either party may terminate the consultancy engagement by providing written notice to the other party in accordance with the terms of the signed Service Agreement.

Global Consultancy Services reserves the right to terminate or suspend services immediately, without prior notice, in the following circumstances:

  • Discovery that the client has provided materially false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • The client requests assistance with any activity that violates immigration law, university policies, or applicable regulations
  • Non-payment of fees that remain overdue after written notice has been provided
  • Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct toward any member of our staff
  • Breach of any material term of these Terms and Conditions or the signed Service Agreement

Upon termination, any fees paid for services not yet rendered may be refunded at our discretion in accordance with the Refund Policy set out above. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, and Governing Law, shall remain in full force and effect.

10 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising from or relating to them or your use of our services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

Any legal proceedings arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts situated in New York County, New York, and you hereby irrevocably consent to such jurisdiction and waive any objection based on venue or inconvenient forum.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct negotiation. If negotiation fails to resolve the matter within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue mediation or arbitration as an alternative to litigation, where mutually agreed.
